Bataan Day Tour

Our first visit to Bataan was just a day trip, we were supposed to go to Stilts Resort in Batangas but since they were fully booked for April, we opted to go to Bataan instead. Top choices for Bataan resort are Playa La Caleta, Camaya Coast, Westwind Beach Resort and Vista Tala Resort. Playa La Caleta  & Westwind Beach Resort were all fully booked for April so we booked at Vista Tala instead. Maybe you’re wondering why Las Casas wasn’t an option. I have seen a lot of bloggers/travelers that have already been to Las Casas so I decided to go somewhere where there were few people so we can fully utilize the amenities.

One of Cebu’s Best Dessert Place

No wonder why people keep coming back to La Marea. Even though I wasn’t able to taste the famous warm brownie cup, my friend is lost for words on how to describe the feeling while eating for the 3rd time. These cakes were freshly delivered so I was able to take photos while the staff is busy with the other customers haha.

La Vie Parisienne

First trip with friends for 2017 – Cebu. This trip was booked last year. Our dear friend Krizia, booked us on different flights based on the availability of seats. So the 1st trip was at 5.55pm, next is at 9:45 then 11:45 pm. We tried our chances at the 9:45 pm flight so we arrived earlier in Cebu, enough time to meet with our friend.

Cafe VoiLa

Tagaytay is always our go-to date place and I’m glad that there a lot of new places to visit there. Cafe Voila is an alternative to the usual meet-up places like Bag of Beans, Antonio’s or Buon Giorno.

Catch the Golden Sunset at Canyon Cove Hotel and Spa

Canyon Cove is located in Nasugbu, 3 hours away from Manila if traveling via a private car and usually 3 to 4 hours if you are traveling by public transportation. Nasugbu is home to a lot of both hostels, expensive hotels as well as awesome beach front accommodations. Check map here:

Fallen Stars

Who said that I can’t reach and hold a star?

My officemate Arjay, a travel blogger, he invited me & another officemate to join his Zambales trip. He said that we are going to stay in a tent for a night since there are no hotels in Magalawa island. I got so excited since I haven’t slept in a tent since high school but honestly, I expected worst especially with the toilets and all. This is the first trip that I won’t be staying in a hotel.

Down the Memory Lane in Tagaytay City

Just sharing some photos taken at Memory Lane, Tagaytay. It’s a pretty nice stop in Tagaytay, a great place for bondings with family and friends. A perfect spot to hang out before going back to the stressful city.

ahhh.. that Tagaytay vibe.. Tagaytay is one of my favorite, i don’t know, i just love it, don’t you?

Refrigerated cake for the sweet tooth

I visited this place because i’m a Jolina fan during Marvin & Jolina’s loveteam era

Some cute thingy from their gift shop

they serve food in cool plates like this

The place is cute, but i hope their food will improve so visitors would keep on coming back. Don’t forget to visit their gift shop, have some desserts, take pictures and create new memories with your loved ones whom you are with.

How to go to Memory Lane?

a. If you’re driving from Manila. Take SLEX and then Aguinaldo Highway from Bacoor then drive south to Tagaytay Rotonda. From Rotonda go to the right, if you see the Starbucks, Leslie’s and Yellow Cab signage, slow down because you’ll take the road from your right. Go straight then you’ll see the Memory Lane along the road in your left.

b. If you’re going to commute, go to Pasay bus terminal, take the bus going to Nasugbu, Tagaytay or Mendez. If you took the Lian or Nasugbu, tell the driver to drop you off at Don Juan which is near Starbucks, Yellow Cab and Leslie’s signage then ride a tricycle to Memory Lane.

Fellow Teamleads & my manager

You can enjoy 3 swimming pools. The Infinity Pool.

Pool brings a splash of happiness especially to our team. The Garden pool.

Gazeebo, great for weddings and intimate dinners.

The team enjoying the pool though 🙂

If not because of the calming view of Taal lake, there’s nothing more to return in Club Balai. But there are always 2nd chances, maybe next time, food served will be as delicious as the other hotels.

Check other blogs, they might experience otherwise 😛 😛
