Le Petit Soufflé is a restaurant in Century City Mall that offers French/Japanese fusion comfort food. I’ve always been attracted to cafes with a laidback and garden theme. Luckily, this is not just an “instagrammable restaurant”, their food is twice as good as the drool-worthy Instagram photos.
This is the 3rd and newest branch of Mitsuyado Sei-men, they have one in Bluebay Walk, Macapagal Ave and the other branch is located in Jupiter St. Belair, Makati City. This restaurant was brought to Manila by the UCC group and started the “dipping noodle” innovation back in 2012.
Nanbantei of Tokyo – Nanban which means “foreigner” & tei which means “tea house”. Nanbantei of Tokyo specializes in yakitori or skewered food, and they also serve the usual food we find in any Japanese restaurant. Japanese food has always been close to my heart, I love eating Maki, Sashimi, Tempura and the sort; which made dining here a welcome experience for me.
The restaurant, located near Yakimix is a bit small and very busy so we were not able to chill and enjoy the place, but I think that’s the whole point of places like these. While waiting for our order, they served us a bowl of fresh veggies with tasty shrimp paste and hot towel.
Unagi Maki (P150.00)
Unagi is the Japanese word for freshwater eel, unagi maki is basically Maki with cooked eel as filling.
Spicy Tuna Maki (P160.00)
Oooohh spicy tuna with crunchy tempura flakes on top. My favorite 🙂 Another favorite in their menu is the Yakijake (P195.00) and their Poteto Maki (P95.00).
Yes, you read that right po-te-to or potato wrapped in bacon is heaven. I’m also a potato lover. Not really fond of seafood like salmon, but this one is good. A must try!! Would love to try their rice balls on my next visit, probably in BGC.
