One of Cebu’s Best Dessert Place

No wonder why people keep coming back to La Marea. Even though I wasn’t able to taste the famous warm brownie cup, my friend is lost for words on how to describe the feeling while eating for the 3rd time. These cakes were freshly delivered so I was able to take photos while the staff is busy with the other customers haha.

Meet your Newest BFF!

I got my 2017 BFF card last December at TGI Fridays, BGC for P 2,500 and I used the 20% discount right away to reduce our ‘shared’ bill. I started using Bistro card since 2015 because we always dine at Buffalo Wild Wings and Bulgogi Brothers. I was enticed to buy again this year because of the discounts and privileges.

La Vie Parisienne

First trip with friends for 2017 – Cebu. This trip was booked last year. Our dear friend Krizia, booked us on different flights based on the availability of seats. So the 1st trip was at 5.55pm, next is at 9:45 then 11:45 pm. We tried our chances at the 9:45 pm flight so we arrived earlier in Cebu, enough time to meet with our friend.

I Thought You Were The One

“For a moment there, I thought he was the one. I thought he was going to be my knight in shining armor but I was wrong. My false beliefs led me to false hopes and momentarily happiness. We weren’t official, yes. But that title was nothing for me, I didn’t care what label we had because he made me feel assured to the point that he would call me in the middle of the night, drunk and telling me that he loves me while I, was stupid to believe him. Cafe VoiLa

Tagaytay is always our go-to date place and I’m glad that there a lot of new places to visit there. Cafe Voila is an alternative to the usual meet-up places like Bag of Beans, Antonio’s or Buon Giorno.

Catch the Golden Sunset at Canyon Cove Hotel and Spa

Canyon Cove is located in Nasugbu, 3 hours away from Manila if traveling via a private car and usually 3 to 4 hours if you are traveling by public transportation. Nasugbu is home to a lot of both hostels, expensive hotels as well as awesome beach front accommodations. Check map here:

RSM Lutong Bahay

Tagaytay is my “comfort zone”. I feel so relaxed whenever I am in Tagaytay. Well, who wouldn’t agree that it is one of the most laid back places in the Philippines with its great view, cool weather plus it’s just a few hours away from Manila.

What would you correct from your past to save the future?

“At times it may seem as though you and your past are one. Sometimes we fail to differentiate between what has happened to us and who we are today. If you have a hard time getting beyond that damaging mindset let me encourage you right now. You are not your past Although you are changed and shaped by past experiences who you were yesterday does not control the person you have the potential to become tomorrow.”
― Sue Augustine, When Your Past Is Hurting Your Present

Past is past, you cannot change it! All you can do is look forward to the future. That’s what they always say BUT how can you look forward when every time you decide for your future, you will always be haunted by memories especially when you are alone and vulnerable? Well, I think that’s the consequences of the spicy, sweet mistakes you’ve done before.

If given a chance to fix half of it, I will always remind myself these things:

1. Consult GOD for everything

2. Listen to your parents

2. Love yourself first

3. Learn how to say NO and;

4. Don’t talk to strangers

By sticking to these rules, I guess, my future is saved!

Hope this helps Ladies and Gents. *wink

Plains and Prints

It’s the start of the week and thought that it might be the perfect time to do some photoshoot. My friend/photographer/stylist and blogging bud Apple walked few miles (just kidding) just to show off our clothes LOL.

Crooked but Colorful

Life is like a colorful zigzag line, sometimes crooked but it is where the fun starts. In some point of that zigzag road, we met people who are either meant to be in our life or we met them to make us realize how lucky we are for having things or someone that we have now. For all the people I’ve met, talked to and I’ve shown interest to but didn’t have the chance to know me well, still, thank you. Thank you for your time and the little joys that we’ve shared a bit.

If you are watching How I Met Your Mother, an American comedy/drama sitcom, probably you know Robin. Everyone has their own Robin, a person that you loved so much but you cannot be with. And whoever you met, whatever you do, it’s nothing compared with life with Robin.

Aztec top and skirt from Bread & Butter. Flats from Parisian.

Accessories from a local shop: TheWearHousePH.

As what my friend says, “We don’t meet people by accident, they are meant to cross our path for a reason.”
